Olive green cloth with gold lettering on spine and decorated paste down label (6.25" x 5") on front board. Extremities show very minor wear and rubbing. Printed on low sheen calendar-paper card stock. Many illustrations (10) are full page with remainder having a vine border with illustration on top quarter. Poetic reminiscences about the Friday afternoon school exercises and romances both true and imagined, that happened in a small Scottish elementary school.
